|Warranty Policy
Emerald Alarms, located at 20 Kikuyu Road, Chevallum, QLD, 4556, PH: 1300 316 552, guarantees that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the period specified on the product label, starting from the manufacturing date code on the product(the “Warranty Period”), subject to the conditions outlined below.
EA reserves the right to modify the warranty terms at any time without prior notice. Coverage will be based on the warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase. If EA determines, in its sole discretion, that a product has become defective during the Warranty Period and the warranty remains valid (i.e., not voided by a breach of the conditions set forth), we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product.
However, EA will not accept a warranty claim if the failure is due to incorrect installation, misuse, or improper application. Additionally, EA is not liable for any damage resulting from accidents, electrical surges, storm damage, power inconsistencies, improper installations, or any unauthorized attempts to repair or tamper with the product.
This warranty does not cover products that have been contaminated, are infested with insects, or fail to operate due to improper maintenance. It also excludes issues arising from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to corrosion or mold. To the extent permitted by law, EA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damage to furniture, floors, walls, fixtures, or any other loss resulting from a defect in the product.
This warranty does not cover the installation or removal of the product.
This warranty is provided in addition to other legal rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded.
EA will not be responsible for any costs associated with warranty work undertaken without our prior knowledge and approval.

The product’s date code or serial number must not be removed, altered, or tampered with in any way. The product must remain in its original factory condition, without modification or alteration.
