What is EchoTag?
Smart alarm intelligence built into every EVO smoke alarm.
EchoTag uses acoustic data transfer. When EchoTag mode is activated, the smoke alarm emits a specially encoded sequence of sounds containing its stored diagnostic information. The mobile phone’s microphone captures this sound, and the EchoTag app decodes it into an easy-to-read diagnostic report.
